Dr. Jaggi Rao is a double board-certified dermatologist in Canada and USA and a certified cosmetic surgeon, completing his fellowship with the Academy of Cosmetic Surgery in Southern California.

He has a significant number of accolades in realms of research, teaching and cosmetic surgery. In 2011, he was recipient of Avenue Magazine Top 40 under 40 for his creation and visionary behind ConsultDerm, Canada’s largest teledermatology platform. He sits on the board of CAAM (Canadian Association of Aesthetics Medicine). As well, he continues to act as consultant to government on laser safety, the pharmaceutical industry, and professional sports teams in the city. Not only is he is the founder and leader of DermiCon, Canada’s largest dermatology conference for family physicians and pharmacists , he is also the creator of AMT ( Aesthetics Medicine Training Academy). He has established a cohesive curriculum which continues to teach many professional learners the art of injectables and the science of lasers.

In the next phase of his career, Dr. Rao continues to be proliferative, expanding his research, teaching, and entrepreneurial profile. His next launch is ActivMD Derm Spa, an initiative that was born out of a need to combine advanced dermatological procedures with a strong focus on self care, quality, transparency, and natural outcomes in a spa like serene setting .
